HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani launched the official website of the 13th UN Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice 'Doha 2015' on Tuesday, February 04, 2014.

Legal advisor to HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and Chairman of the western Asia regional preparatory meeting for Doha 2015 Maj. Gen. Abdullah Yousuf Al Mal, director of international agreements at UN HE. John Sandige , representatives of various agencies of the UN and a number of officers from the Ministry of Interior attended the g ceremony. The website provides a brief overview of the conference and the discussion guide, preparatory meetings, and the Preparatory Committee for hosting the Conference, which was formed by a decision of the Minister of Interior No. (38)/ 2013, where it was decided to be under the chairmanship of Maj. Gen. Dr. Abdullah Yusuf Al Mal, the Legal Advisor to the Minister of Interior, Dr. Ahmed Hassan Malallah Al Hammadi, Director of the Legal Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and members including representatives of the Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Department of Public Prosecutions, and the Qatar Foundation .

Col. Abdul Rahman Al Maliki, Asst. Director of Information System Department and member of Preparatory committee said that the Preparatory Committee aims at making it easier for the participants of 'Doha 2015' with the use of modern technology and pointed that the site contains a collection of news and events in both Arabic and English, and important information on the State of Qatar, its customs and traditions, tourist sites in the state and shopping and entertainment and transportation communication services.

The Committee is entitled to make all preparations to host the Thirteenth UNCCPCJ-2015 at Doha and to coordinate with the Office of the United Nations Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (UNODC) to formulate topics and agenda along with supervising the organization of conferences and forums in coordination with the concerned authorities locally and abroad and to coordinate with the media to cover the events of the conference and promote in the media all related contents and issues, and to regulate the required support for the Conference in all aspects including financial , administrative and regulatory, in addition to other functions related to the organization of the conference assigned by the Minister of Interior.
