The State of Qatar participated in the Latin American and Caribbean Regional Preparatory Meeting for UN Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (Doha, 2015). Latin American and Caribbean Regional Preparatory Meeting was held at San José, Costa Rica, 19-21 February 2014.

The Qatari Delegation to the meeting included Dr. Ahmed Hassan Al-Hammadi, director of Legal Affairs Department at Ministry of External Affairs and vice chairman of Preparatory Committee for Crime Congress, Ambassador Ali Al-Mansouri from External Affairs Ministry and Abdulla Dain and Lt. Salem Al-Mirri from the Ministry of Interior.

The meeting discussed the tabled agenda regarding the Crime Congress.

13th UN Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (UNCCPCJ) will be hosted by Doha in April 2015 and it is considered as one of the biggest UN international events where all the world countries will participate along with international organizations.
