The Qatar and UN delegations on UN Crime Congress met with senior US officials in the Departments of States and Justice on Monday and Tuesday November 17-18 2014 at Washington.

The Qatari delegation was headed by H.E. Maj. Gen. Dr. Abdullah Yousuf Al-Maal, Advisor to H.E. the Minister of Interior and head of Preparatory Committee for 13th UN Crime Congress. The meeting were attended by Qatar’s ambassador to the US H.E. Mohammed Jaham Al-Kuwari,.

Preparations made by Qatar on hosting UN Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice – Doha 2015 was explained in these meetings. Both sides discussed their views and stand on the issues tabled on Crime Congress agenda and agreed on cooperation and mutual coordination between the delegations of the both countries at informal consultations on Doha Draft Declaration to be held at UN headquarters at Vienna.
