 UN Crime Congress: Qatari Delegates Meet South African Officials

The Qatari delegation headed by the Adviser to HE Minister of Interior HE Major General Dr. Abdullah Yusuf Al-Maal, who is also Chairman of the Preparatory Committee for the Thirteenth United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice held discussions on Thursday 4 December, with a number of South Africa's senior officials in Pretoria in South Africa, on the preparations for the Conference to be held in Doha in April next year.

The discussions dealt with Qatar’s logistical preparations to host the crime prevention and criminal justice conference Doha 2015, as well as the topics on the agenda, where the two sides agreed on joint cooperation and coordination between the delegations of the two countries.

The talks were attended by officials from Ministries of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, Security and Human Rights of South Africa headed by Dr. Montwedi, Chief Director for Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs at the Department of International Relations and Cooperation. The Qatar's Ambassador to South Africa Salem Abdullah Al Jaber also attended the meeting.
