Milipol Qatar 2010 Exhibition wraps up

The 8th international exhibition of internal state security Milipol Qatar 2010 was inaugurated on 25th October 2010.

On the sidelines of Milipol Qatar 2010, The Ministry of Interior, in association with United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) MENA region, organized a seminar on community policing at Doha Sheraton Hotel on Tuesday, 26 October 2010. The seminar was attended by the Director General of Public Security (DGPS) Staff. Maj. Gen. Saa'd bin Jassim Al Khulailfi and a number of invitees participating in Milipol Qatar 2010.

The Milipol Qatar 2010 concluded on Wednesday, 27 October 2010 whereas a total of 5517 visitors visited to the exhibition and delegates from 7 new countries also participated in the event. They were Finland, Sweden, Portugal, Poland, Kazakhstan, Japan and Tunisia. Four governmental entities of Qatar showcased their products in 7 pavilions as more than 222 exhibitors took part representing 33 countries. 5517 professional visitors attended the 8th edition of the exhibition and 11 contracts worth QR163,883,000 were signed during the Milipol expo 2010.
