Doha: Chairman of Milipol Qatar Committee Brig. Nasser bin Fahad Al Thani announced the 'Salih Al Hamad Al Mana Company' as the platinum sponsor of the 9th edition of the international exhibition of internal state security 'Milipol Qatar'. The announcement was come in a joint press conference held at the headquarters of the company in Doha for announcing the sponsorship.

As platinum sponsor, the company will support the exhibition with the amount of QR 300000 and this is along with booking the space of 204 meter square for its pavilion in the expo.

On behalf of Milipol Qatar, Brig. Nasser Al Thani signed in the agreement while the Saliha Al Hamad Al Mana Co. was represented by the chairman of the company Hesham Al Mana. Milipol Qatar Committee member Brig. Saud Al Shafi and number of officials from Saliha Al Hamad Al Mana Co. also attended the press conference.

Under the patronage of HH Shk. Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani the crown prince, we are going to open the 9th International Exhibition of Internal State Security Milipol Qatar 2012 from October 8 to 10, 2012 in Doha at Qatar International Exhibition Centre, talking in the press conference, Brig. Nasser Al Thani stated.

This sponsorship has been made in the context of preparation for the ninth edition of the important international event that has achieved great success in the field of security, which has inspired large corporations & manufactures to show great interest in participating in this edition to showcase their latest products related to safety and security, he added.

Brig. Nasser extended his gratitude to Saleh Al Hamad Co. for its continues support for all national programs and exhibitions in general and for Milipol Qatar in specific.

Speaking in the press conference, the Chairman of Saliha Al Hamad Al Mana company Hesham Al Mana said, "I am pleased to extend my regards to Brigadier Nasser bin Fahd Al Thani, Chairman of Qatar Milipol Committee and his team in making this exhibition a successful event. We are also delighted to support this national cause and would like to reaffirm our support to national & social events held in the country. Over the years MIlipol Qatar exhibition has become one of the key international events attracting many international companies specialized in security and safety. This year we have invested around 1 million QAR in the preparation for the exhibition from building the exhibition pavilion for an area exceeding 200 square meter plus other operational expenses, Al Mana added. Pointing out to company's participation in this edition of the expo, Hesham said "The Nissan Qatar will be displaying a series of vehicles that are specifically used as Police Patrol cars in the Country, in addition to this, a special ambulance vehicle modified on the Nissan Urvan platform will be showcased in the expo".

The Milipol Qatar, since its beginning in 1996, is one of the most important security exhibitions, which will be a significant meeting point for the international companies producing security equipments in general and for the companies from the Middle East in particular.
