The Milipol Qatar Committee signed sponsorship agreement with Qatar Petroleum (QP) for Milipol Qatar 2012 exhibition. The QP will be the diamond sponsor of the ninth edition of Milipol Qatar security exhibition will be held between October 8 -19, 2012.

The Contract was signed at a press conference in Administrative Annexure of the Ministry of Interior. Chairman of Qatar Milipol Committee Brigadier General Nasser bin Fahad al Thani, head of procurement division Logistics Department of the Ministry and member of the Milipol Qatar Brig. Saud Rashid Al Shafi and director of risk management department at QP Abdullah Al-Jaber attended the press conference

Brigadier General Nasser bin Fahad al Thani said that this is part of preparations for ninth edition of Milipol Qatar exhibition 2012 which had recorded success in previous editions. Leading companies on global level in the security field will participate in the exhibition, he added.

The Committee chairman also announced that the QP will be the diamond sponsor of the event and have provided financial support of 400,000 QR as well they have booked 261 square meters of space in the exhibition. He further affirmed that the committee is completing all the preparations for the exhibition as per schedule plan.

On his part, Abdullah Al Jaber thanked and appreciated the Ministry of Interior for organizing this security exhibition which recorded remarkable growth since its inception in 1996.

As per the directives from the Minister of Energy and Industry HE Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Sada, chairman and managing director of the QP, the company is delighted to be one the main supporters of this big event. QP is proud in being selected as the Diamond sponsor of the Milipol Qatar 2012.
