The ninth session of security and safety exhibition - Millipol Qatar 2012 will be organized under the auspicious patronage of the Emir His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al Thani and the Heir Apparent His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani between October 8 -19, 2012.

Chairman of Qatar Milipol Committee Brigadier General Nasser bin Fahad al Thani announced at a press conference on Monday, May 18, 2012 that Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros Company as the main official sponsor of the Milipol Qatar 2012.

The press conference was attended by Director of Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Interior and member of the Milipol Committee Colonel Ahmed Abdullah al Jamal and CEO of Abdullah Abdulghani and Brothers Company Dr Nasser Abdulghani.

Brigadier General Nasser bin Fahad al Thani said that Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros has become a permanent partner of the Milipol Qatar Exhibition. He said the company has always been keen to supporting the exhibition since its first edition in 1996 and thanked the company for what they had been offering over 16 years to bring success to this important exhibition.

He highlighted the preparations of the committee for the exhibition, adding that the committee has concluded its marketing plan for the big event outside Qatar with constant monitoring of the Minister of State for Internal Affairs HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani. He also noted that the committee has recently visited several international security exhibitions, including IDEX Exhibition, SOFOX and Milipol Paris.

He said the committee also visited the Euorosatory exhibition in order to attract a large number of specialised companies as the space occupied for the event has reached 50 percent of the total target area. The committee chairman said internal marketing plan was still in progress in order to draw local companies to display their products and make deals during the exhibition as this year’s edition will be attended many American and European companies.

On his part, Dr Nasser Abdulghani said, “The Milipol Qatar is one of the important exhibitions in the country. It provides an opportunity to identify the systems and special technological devices for internal security and defence.” He said Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros Company will participate in the event by providing Toyota and Lexus vehicles for the transport of official delegations participating in the exhibition.

He added that they are supporting Milipol Qatar 2012 with QR1 million as its role in promoting Qatar’s sustainable development and its national responsibility towards Qatari society.

The conference concluded with a statement by Colonel Ahmed Abdullah al Jamal who stressed that this year’s show will be marked by the participation of the most important and international big companies, including companies from countries participating for the first time.
