On-arrival Visas

Qatar welcomes all visitors to the state from different countries of the world. The Ministry of Interior is committed to ensure the facilitation of the entry and exit of travelers.

Citizens from more than 95 countries around the world are permitted to enter Qatar with a visa upon arrival at the country's entry points. The Ministry of Interior has included citizens of several countries on the list exempted from prior entry visas.

Citizens of these countries are allowed to stay for varying periods. A valid passport with at least three months' validity and a confirmed ticket to continue the journey or a confirmed return ticket are mandatory for that, in addition to compulsory health insurance, and insurance for the vehicle if coming by road.

You can check (visas on arrival to the state of Qatar), and learn about their specific terms and requirements.

All rules and policies regarding visas for visitors are subject to change without notice, and they are adopted and issued by the Ministry of Interior.

A valid health insurance policy from insurance companies registered with the Ministry of Public Health is required to enter Qatar.

Visitors coming to Qatar by car via the Abu Samra Border are required to complete the required insurance policies electronically (Qatar Unified Bureau). They can also pre-register through Hayya.
