Session on partnership in law enforcement and combating terrorism between Qatar and USA

A session on "partnership in law enforcement and combating terrorism" was held on Monday, February 13, 2023, at the National Counter Terrorism Committee headquarters in Doha, within the framework of the 5th Qatar-US Strategic Dialogue. The Qatari side was led by HE Major General Dr. Nasser Saeed Al-Hajri, Vice-Chairman of the Committee, while HE Mr. Christopher Landberg, US Secretary CT Bureau Senior Official, led the US side. The session addressed the progress made as a result of joint efforts related to combating terrorism and its financing, anti-money laundering and combating extremism at an international level. In addition, the sides discussed bilateral security partnership in the field of law enforcement, aviation and border security, information sharing and capacity building.
