A training program of the implementing targeted financial sanctions

Within the framework of the national coordination between the authorities concerned with implementing the recommendations of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), and following the assessments of the State of Qatar in the year 2023, the National Counter Terrorism Committee provided a training program for members of the Public Prosecution. The targeted financial sanctions related to preventing the financing of terrorism and preventing the financing of the proliferation of arms, on Sunday the 21 of Jan 2024 at the headquarters of the Institute of Criminal Studies at the Public Prosecution.
The training program included the following topics:
1. Basic concepts of the targeted financial sanctions system.
2. Obligations of those concerned with implementing the freezing measures.
3. Implementing a system of targeted financial sanctions.
