Awareness and information Section is divided into two branches: -

Awareness Division which undertakes the following:

• Dissemination of religious consciousness as well as the culture and values of the society between the juveniles through the development of awareness programs that contribute to educate them and guide them to good values and ethical conduct.
• Develop plans and programs directed to the family and the child in cooperation and coordination with the competent authorities in the Ministry and across all media in order to nurture the religious and community culture among the juveniles.
• Preparation of the family and children's publications, brochures and educational tapes, phrases and banners.
• Follow up on of the juvenile cases referred to the department.
• Adoption of the principle of institutional participation existing on knowledge and professional basis which is also accepted for the exchange of experiences through communication with the security departments and institutions of civil society concerned with child affairs.

Research and Studies Division specialized in the following:

• preparation of research and studies with respect to phenomena and behaviors of the juveniles and draw conclusions and to identify the reasons that lead to their delinquency and deviations as well as discussion with them and approval thereon in preparation for covering the advantage of it.
• Exchange of experiences and knowledge with the security departments and civil society institutions concerned with the child affairs.
• Creation of statistical data and information according to the data and information available about the juveniles, develop them and update so as to make use of and refer them.
• Supervision on the department library and provide and arrange for all specialized books and references.
• Planning and preparing for the workshops to discuss the findings and recommendations, which summarize the field studies.
