Qatar Participates in Workshop on Global Practices for Organizing and Managing Traffic During Major Events

The State of Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Interior, participated in a workshop titled "Global Practices for Organizing and Managing Traffic During Major Events," held in Paris, France, from October 15 to 16. The workshop was organized by the European Roads Policing Network (ROADPOL) in cooperation with Naif Arab University for Security Sciences.

The Ministry was represented at the workshop by Brigadier Dr. Mohammed Radi Al Hajri, Secretary of the National Traffic Safety Committee, and Colonel Saeed Saleh Al-Aida, Director of the Patrols and Traffic Investigation Department at the General Directorate of Traffic.

During the event, the delegation presented Qatar’s pioneering experience in managing traffic during major events, and emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise and enhancing international cooperation in the areas of traffic safety and management.
