The Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Civil Defense and the Criminal Evidence and Information Department, participated in the Qatar International Conference and Exhibition for Facility Management and the LED and Renewable Energy Technology Exhibition 2025. The event was held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center from October 19 to 21, 2025.

This participation comes as part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to promote a culture of safety and prevention within the community, enhance the preparedness of individuals and institutions, and support the Ministry’s vision of achieving the highest levels of readiness and preventive awareness. It also emphasizes the role of community education as a key element in protecting lives and property.

The participation included a variety of guidelines, activities, and awareness messages presented through an interactive approach that combined theoretical knowledge with practical experience. Advanced educational tools were used to help visitors identify potential risks and learn ways to prevent them, thereby improving their readiness to handle various situations.

Captain Engineer Ghanem Salem Al-Nuaimi, Director of the Prevention Department at the General Directorate of Civil Defense, explained that the Directorate’s participation stems from its keenness to strengthen community awareness in areas such as building safety, fire prevention procedures, and evacuation plans. He added that the exhibition showcased key Civil Defense requirements in facility management through modern methods, including simulation devices, live demonstrations, educational brochures, and hands-on training in the use of fire extinguishers.
