The Police Officers Institute at the Police Academy, in coordination with the Committee for Monitoring and Evaluating Legal Procedures and the General Directorate of Drug Enforcement, organised a workshop titled “Legal Regulations for the Integrity of Drug Case Procedures.”
The workshop was attended by Colonel Nayef Mohammed Al-Mannai, Director of the Police Officers Institute, along with a number of specialised officers.
Participants included HE Judge Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Jassimin, Vice President of the Court of First Instance; HE Judge Abdullah Abdul Kareem Al-Qahtani, Vice President of the Court of First Instance; and Mr. Abdul Hadi Al-Qahtani, Assistant Public Prosecutor and representative of the Public Prosecution, and members of the Committee.
The workshop aimed to enhance the skills of judicial officers and improve their professional competence by providing them with both theoretical knowledge and practical applications relevant to their field duties.
It also addressed legal and procedural aspects related to drug cases, highlighting the importance of strengthening the integrity of field procedures from a joint judicial and security perspective to ensure effective coordination among the concerned authorities.
