Information Security Department receives delegation of officers from Italian Ministry of Interior

As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security cooperation and exchange expertise between the Ministry of Interior of the State of Qatar and its counterpart in the Italian Republic, the Information Security Department at the General Directorate of Communications and Information Systems received a delegation of officers from the Italian Ministry of Interior, representing the Carabinieri and the Italian Police. The delegation was welcomed by Major Mohammed Ali Al Kuwari, Director of the Information Security Department, along with several officers.

During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the department’s functions, and both sides exchanged expertise and experiences in information security, including key technologies used in the field, in a way that enhances professional cooperation and contributes to developing shared capabilities between the two sides.
