General Directorate of Civil Defence receives delegation from the International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO)

As part of efforts to strengthen cooperation with international institutions and organizations, the General Directorate of Civil Defence received a delegation from the International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO). Major General Hamad Othman Al-Duhaimi, Director General of Civil Defence, met with Arguj Kalantarli, Head of the Delegation and Secretary-General of the Organization.

During the meeting, a number of topics related to civil protection were discussed, in addition to ways to develop and enhance frameworks for cooperation in areas of mutual interest, contributing to the exchange of expertise and the coordination of efforts aimed at raising the level of preparedness and response to risks.
This visit comes within the context of the General Directorate of Civil Defence’s commitment to strengthening its relations with international organizations, in a manner that enhances the State of Qatar’s standing in the field of civil protection and civil defence at the global level.
