Delegation from General Directorate of Traffic visits Academic Bridge Program

As part of efforts to strengthen community partnership and promote traffic awareness and education across various segments of society, a delegation from the General Directorate of Traffic visited the Academic Bridge Program, a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development.
The delegation was headed by Colonel Mohammed bin Jassim Al Thani, Assistant Director General of Traffic, accompanied by a number of department directors and officers. They were received by Dr. Suhaim Khalaf Al Tamimi, Director General of the Academic Bridge Program, along with several faculty members and representatives.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation and coordination in traffic awareness and education initiatives for students and members of the program, aimed at promoting positive traffic behavior and fostering social responsibility among youth.

The visit also included an awareness lecture highlighting common traffic violations and mistakes, the main causes of accidents, and preventive measures — as part of ongoing efforts to reduce traffic accidents and enhance road safety.
