The chairman of National Counter Terrorism Committee, Major General Abdul Aziz Abdullah Ansari in an exclusive statement to "Arab21" at the Westminster International Conference on Counter-Terrorism organized by the British Royal United Services Institute (Rusi), said that "Qatar has been distinguished in its fight against terrorism by its efforts in education and job creation."

Maj. Gen Abdullah Al Ansari noted Qatar's outstanding role in the fight against terrorism, saying: "There is no terrorist operation inside the country not a single citizen of Qatar is involved in any one of the terrorist operations anywhere in the world."

"Qatar has a very strong relationship with the United Nations through its involvement in all its counter-terrorism programs and it is implementing all international laws through listing, monitoring and follow-up," he said.

The head of the National Committee stressed that the fight against terrorism is an integral part of the agreements concluded by Qatar with foreign countries, pointing out that "the Security Council resolutions for Doha is a red line and they are implemented by us as it is."
