The National Counter Terrorism Committee at the Ministry of Interior was established in 26 March 2007, in accordance with Council of Ministers Decision (7) of 2006, repealed and replaced by the Council of Ministers Decision (29) of 2020 promulgated on 16 September 2020, on establishing the National Counter-Terrorism Committee, determining its functions and members' remunerations.
