Tasks of the Department

• Conduct chemical, physical and biological tests, to identify the perpetrators and unravel the mysteries of crimes.
• Detect the forgery and counterfeiting cases using the latest scientific methods.
• Examine the effects of firearms and ammunition and the effects of the fire.
• Detection of poisons and drugs.
• Use all available scientific methods in the field of crime detection and follow scientific developments in this area.
• Any other tasks being assigned within the scope of its jurisdiction.
