The PR Department in coordination and cooperation with other departments at ministry of interior organizes various activities and programs periodically.


Police and security occasions

The PR Department participates in all police and security occasions at Gulf, Arab and international level. The participation comes from the keenness to materialize the frameworks of cooperation and to root the principles of security and to activate these occasions to serve the security and preventive goals. Examples of some occasions are here:

Security occasions:-

1) International civil defense day celebration on 1st of March every year.
2) GCC Traffic week celebration between March and April every year.
3) International drugs prevention day on 26th June of every year.
4) Arab Traffic Week Celebration.
5) Arab Police Day celebration on 18th December every year.

Other occasions in which the department participates :-

1) Qatar environment day celebration.
2) World ladies day celebration.
3) World family day celebration.

Festivals and Celebrations

The ministry of interior represented by its security departments takes part in several festivals and celebrations aiming at establishing joint responsibility concept in realizing the security in the society.
