 Functions of the Department

1. Subject to the terms of reference of Penal and Correctional Institutions Department, follow up the implementation of all orders from the Public and Special prosecutors in criminal cases, in coordination with the concerned departments.

2. Execution of civil orders and sentences of imprisonment, in coordination with the concerned department.

3. Implementation of arrest and production warrants issued by the courts or the public prosecutor, in order to implement the orders.

4. To issue certificates on implementation of all issued against the owner of the relationship issues.
