HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), met with General Salvatore Luongo, Commander General of the Italian Carabinieri, during His Excellency’s visit to the friendly Italian Republic.

During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation in areas of mutual interest and exchanged expertise in security matters, particularly with regard to the duties of the Qatari Task Force participating in securing the “Milan–Cortina 2026” Winter Olympic Games.

Their Excellencies also visited the Qatari Task Force operations room, where they were briefed on the progress of work and the tasks assigned to it in securing the Olympic Games.
