MOI Undersecretary Meets His UAE Counterpart
H.E. Abdullah bin Khalaf bin Hattab Al Kaabi,
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, met with H.E Major General Staff
Khalifa bin Harib Al Khubaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior of
United Arab Emirates. During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to
enhance security cooperation and coordination between them.
Following the meeting, the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding on
the Protection of Data and Information Exchanged in Joint Security Projects
between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the United
Arab Emirates. The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation between the two
countries and achieve a balance between their respective security and
regulatory requirements.
Their Excellencies, the Undersecretaries of the Ministries of Interior of the
two sisterly countries, also inaugurated the Bilateral Traffic Systems
Integration Project and the Electronic Data and Deportee Fingerprint Exchange
System Project, in the presence of a number of senior officers and officials
from both sides.
These initiatives reflect the level of partnership and security integration
between the two sisterly countries and contribute to enhancing the efficiency
of joint security work and the development of data and information exchange
systems, serving their shared security interests.
