Conditions for obtaining Police Clearance Certificate:


A request for A Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) or Good Conduct Certificate must be submitted by the concerned party or their authorized representative to the relevant department at the Ministry of Interior.

For employment: 

For Qatari nationals:

Statement of the purpose of issuing the Police Clearance Certificate (specify the entity and the purpose).

• Copy of your Qatar ID. 


For residents: 

• Statement of the purpose of issuing the Police Clearance Certificate (specify the entity and the purpose). 

• Copy of your Qatar ID. 

• A Police Clearance Certificate for expatriates issued by their country's embassy attested by the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant authorities.


Exempted from submitting this document are:

• Expatriates born in Qatar.

• Those who entered the country at an age of less than 16 years old.
• Expatriate residents who have been in the country for more than 10 years, provided that their residency in the country has not been interrupted for more than 6 months.
 

For Use outside the country (for study and migration): 

For Qatari nationals and residents: 

• Copy of your Qatar ID.

For former residents in the country: 

Submit a request for the issuance of a Police Clearance Certificate through the Consular Affairs Department at the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs via Qatari embassies abroad, attached by: 

  • Certified and endorsed copy of fingerprints. 
  • Copy of the passport. 
  • Copy of the previous residence permit. 
  • Two personal photos (4×6).


Inquiries can be made through the Ministry of Interior's website and the Metrash2 application. 
Payment of applicable fees is required.
