The Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Civil Defence, participated in the seventh edition of the "Build Your House" Exhibition, which was held at the Qatar National Convention Centre, during the period from 26 to 28 October 2026, with an awareness pavilion highlighting home safety requirements and ways to prevent risks.

The pavilion included a set of awareness and interactive means introducing visitors to home safety devices and equipment, ways to act in emergency situations, and how to detect and prevent risks, in addition to the use of virtual reality and simulation technologies, and the provision of instructional booklets. Furthermore, officers of the Preventive Education Section provided explanations and awareness guidance to visitors, with the aim of consolidating preventive behaviours and enhancing community awareness.

This participation comes within the Directorate's plan to spread the culture of security and safety, raise the level of compliance with preventive requirements and procedures, and promote sound practices among members of the community.
