Functions of the Department

The "airport security Department" is specialized in security and service tasks related to the daily dealing with the public, as well as taking measures to maintain security and regulate the traffic through Doha International Airport. It has the following tasks to undertake: -
 Provide the necessary escorts to Doha International Airport and other aerial ports of the country further take all actions and measures to maintain security over there.
Regulate the passenger movement through Doha International Airport and other aerial ports of the State, so as to ensure the application of the effective procedures.
Develop security controls for functional procedures at Doha International Airport and other aerial ports of the State, monitoring their implementation, and taking legal action against violators in coordination with the competent state authorities.
Discharge and renewal of permits for the entry and exit of persons and vehicles to areas of competence, in coordination with other competent authorities
