Department Sections
1- Security Section
- Provide the required escort in accordance with the security control of Doha International Airport and take all actions and measures to protect and secure its facilities.
- Secure and organize passenger baggage traffic through Doha International Airport thereby applying the approved measures.
- Secure and organize the work in ceremonial halls including confirmation of its use by the authorized only.
- The implementation of the security plan inside the airport by camera and operation room as well as dealing with emergency situations in coordination with other competent authorities
- Provide the necessary escort for flights in their parked yards and accompany ambulances inside the airport.
- Provide the entry and exit permits of the people and vehicles within the scope of competence in accordance with the work requirements and conditions at Doha International Airport in coordination with other competent authorities.
- Follow-up with the measures of deportees who are not subject to entry visa requirement in the state and deport them in coordination with the concerned bodies
- Referral of those wanted by security force or those subject to legal proceedings to the competent authorities of the ministry
- Preparation of immediate reports on security status inside Doha International Airport to take the right decisions at the right time
- Take the security measures necessary for the entry of the staff and workers in Doha International Airport.
2- Inspection section
- Inspection of passengers at Doha International Airport
- Inspection of luggage and bags of the passengers, implementation of the instructions of International Civil Aviation Organization with respect to prohibited materials in aircrafts
- Checking users of ceremonial halls
- Rehabilitation and training of inspectors on work procedures and modern inspection methods.
- Preparation of immediate reports on security status within Doha International Airport to take the right decision at right time
3-System Section
- Audit the registers of official working hours and prepare the reports on delay and absence as well the attendance and the departure the department staff.
- Organize the morning military queue and work to ensure compliance with the attendance of the military in their specified times and dates.
- Continuous follow up of control and connectivity and prepare the reports on breaches.
4- Administrative Affairs Section
- Implementation of regulations and resolutions applicable to the work, as well as the decisions on appointments, promotions and transfers for officers and non-commissioned officers, personnel and civilians
- Procedures of providing the management staff with vacations due to them.
- Enter and modify data of department staff by computer.
- Save documents in the personal files of employees and archive files of the department.
- Administrative services for the department (incoming and outgoing mail, maintenance of department buildings)
- Follow up on the transportation works of the department such as receipt of all kinds of cars; their maintenance and preparation of register of movement, operation and their petroleum materials.
- Coordinate with the competent bodies for identification of the necessary human resources as required by the department.
5-Permits’ Section
- Extraction and renewal of the necessary permits to enter the airport (individual permits - vehicles - companies and institutions) after approval from the security authorities
