Objectives of the Department

Enhancing cooperation and coordination regionally and internationally for a secure society free from crime, prevailing safety and civil protection for individuals:

1. Collaborating with the Arab Interior Ministers' Council to support security cooperation in combating crime.
2. Collaborating with the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) in combating crime.
3. Combating crime and issues related to the extradition of criminals.
