Arab and International Police Communication Department

Introduction

The Arab and International Police Communication Department is the main gateway for the Ministry of Interior in Qatar to enhance and activate cooperation and coordination in combating crime regionally and internationally.

The Arab and International Police Communication Department includes:

• The Communication Division of the Arab Interior Ministers' Council - Doha, affiliated with the General Secretariat of the Arab Interior Ministers' Council (according to the council's bylaws, which stipulate the establishment of a communication division in each Arab member state, known as the Communication Division of the Arab Interior Ministers' Council).
• The National Central Bureau (Interpol Doha), is affiliated with the International Criminal Police Organization - Interpol (according to the organization's bylaws, which state the creation of a national central bureau for each country).
• The formation of the Arab and International Police Communication Department dates back to the establishment of the Arab Interior Ministers' Council and the International Criminal Police Organization. Initially named the Communication and Interpol Division, it later transformed into the Communication Department of the Arab and International Police - Interpol, falling under the organizational structure of the Ministry of Interior.
