No Objection Certificate for Selling Gold

In the context of the preservation of personal property, the Ministry of the Interior has followed a series of procedures. Gold sales require the issuance of a No-objection Certificate from Police, which requires several conditions to meet for men and women. This service is provided by Gold Sales Office at Souq Waqif and other security departments. 
 
These requirements are as follows:
 
Requirements for selling gold by women:
 
• Bring gold for inspection
• Bring gold bills if any
• Bring the identity card of the gold owner for citizens and residents and passport for visitors.
 
Requirements for selling gold by men:
 
• Bring the  gold to be sold for the inspection. It should belong to first degree (mother, wife, sister, grandmother) or second degree (aunt, aunt) relatives.  
• Bring the original ID of the gold owner
• Bring gold bills if any
• If you bring a men's watch, you must bring the purchase invoice
• If you bring gold bullion, bring your purchase invoice
• When sending a representative of the owner of the watch or gold bullion, the original  ID card of the owner and the invoice shall be produce
• Permits are not given for those under 18 years of age

• Fee of QR 10 shall be paid by bank card (QR 10).
