Security Tasks

To receive complaints in form of codification of words and statements and to manage the record of detected violations in addition to observing crime scene in case of necessity and assisting judicial officers of different authorities.

To ensure safety of judicial procedures and its inferences and data and complete its shortfalls and complementary measures such as photography and works related to fingerprint of accused persons as well as to take precedence and produce accused persons in front of prosecutor and relevant court in addition to preparing the statistics.

Announcing schedule of sessions for concerned persons and to inform the convicts about their sentences as well as to follow up the implementation of those orders and acceptance of the persons who are retrieved thorough public communication and Interpol in addition to handing over internationally wanted persons through public communication and Interpol. The department refers convicts for detention to Penal and Correctional Institutions Department and refers persons convicted to be deported to Search And Follow Up Department in addition to preparing the statistics.

To guard building of the department and detainees or take them to hospitals and follow up their visits and to keep their belongings safe as well as guarding public market’s area in the center of Doha city during night in addition to watch crime scene and any other place in case of necessity which is carried out by some of the male and female staff of the department according to required guarding type.

To carry out works of the department and system and staff affairs and to provide transportation means with its distribution among different sections in addition to receiving applications of the licenses for possessing and obtaining firearms and ammunitions.
