Functions
1. Proposing the annual plan for the department, and implementing it after its approval, within the framework of the Ministry’s general policy.
2. Conducting inspections of all departments of the Ministry, to ensure that they are carrying out their specific duties, to achieve good disciplinary, administrative and financial performance documented in documents.
3. Carrying out financial oversight of all departments of the Ministry, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
4. Participate in annual and periodic inventory operations, conducted by the competent authorities in the Ministry.
5. Carrying out administrative inspections for all departments of the Ministry, and verifying the extent of compliance with the decisions and instructions issued by the competent authorities.
6. Carrying out disciplinary inspections on all employees of the Ministry’s departments, to ensure compliance with military discipline and liaison.
7. Receiving complaints and suggestions from Ministry employees regarding the level of performance and job behaviour, in matters that fall within the jurisdiction of the administration, and referring them to the competent authorities.
8. Search and study the causes of discovered violations, propose corrective measures, submit them to the concerned department, and submit what has not been implemented to the decision-making authority in the ministry to determine the directives, and then verify their implementation.
9. Measuring the level of security perception among the Ministry’s employees, and in its buildings and facilities, by submitting reports on the results of the secret auditor’s visits, and proposing recommendations to address security gaps, in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
10. Submitting reports to the competent authorities on the results of oversight and inspection, accompanied by opinions and recommendations, and following up on the directives issued in this regard.
11. Supervising the work of the departments affiliated with the administration, working to develop them and providing their material and human needs in coordination with the competent authorities, to ensure the smooth progress of work.
12. Propose the department’s draft annual budget.
13. Any other tasks assigned to it.
