Awareness Tips

Criminal Investigation Department is assigned to preventing crimes from taking place, especially theft crimes. The department also work on boosting awareness among community members and incites individuals to protect their lives and properties through maintaining the following awareness tips:
  • Locking doors and windows to prevent your house from theft.
  • Keeping valuable belongings in well secured facilities (safe deposit, wardrobe).
  • Please inform nearest police station when witnessing of any kind of crime.
  • Show your ID to any policeman who ask about your identity after showing you his/her police ID (in case he/she isn’t wearing police uniform).
  • When buying any used goods (cellphone, computer, etc.), keep in mind saving the contact information of the seller (copy of his/her ID).
  • keeping emergency phone numbers of the nearest police station and person’s own home/work address is very important in the case of emergency.
