Functions

The Directorate of Logistics and Supply undertakes many tasks related with providing MoI establishments and its services requirements. The functions include the following:

• Supervising all purchasing and procurement

• Overseeing stores

• Supervising transportation, vehicles and equipments maintenance

• Overseeing handling of the items and assets owned by the Ministry according to the rules and regulations in force

• Overseeing the implementation of the ministry's construction and maintenance work and all work associated with them.

• Implementing works of the Ministry

• Supplying required items

• Collecting and compiling of the budget proposals of departments and sections of the Ministry of Interior to carry out

• pricing, evaluation and overall estimate of the proposals.

• Obtaining all requirements and services for the Ministry whether it is from local market or foreign market.

• Importing explosives from abroad
