It looks into conducting investigation in the daily traffic accidents inside Doha city where there are four sections in "traffic and patrols department that undertakes investigation in traffic accidents. Each section covers the geographical area that comes is the prerogative of its scope of work, that works around the clock and receive reports from citizens and residents as well as from the central operations room, which is responsible for determining the mistaken in the event of a traffic accident through the application of the traffic rules on the roads and collect information and evidence leading to getting hold of the person causing an accident. The investigation work enjoys complete transparency and professionalism and no outside party interferes in its realm of work except those investigators specialized in making investigation into the incidents, who the department is keen on equipping them with all that will bring forth efficiency and professional integrity in performance of their practical duties. These sections undertake the following functions:

• Investigation of traffic accidents on the roads.
• Investigation in escaping incidents.
• Investigation of the accidents, the perpetrators of which are anonymous.
• Issuance of insurance reports for accidents and traffic issues as well as permission for vehicle repairs.

Documents required procedures in traffic issues:

• Copy of the license and proof of the accused in the incident.
• Copy of vehicle’s insurance and ownership.
• Personal or written guarantee for the accused in the incident.
• Complete the proceedings relating to criminal record for the accused in cases of alcohol incidents.
