Functions

• Preparation and participation in local, regional and international security meets and conferences as well as follow up the implementation of their recommendations and decisions in coordination with the competent authorities.
• To carry out the communication and coordination works for the security meeting held at regional or international level.
• To develop and strengthen cooperation with Arab and International authorities and organizations.
• To cooperate with the competent authorities in the Ministry in the preparation of draft agreements and security related memorandums of understanding and follow up their implementation.
• To follow up the international decisions in coordination with competent authorities.
• To supervise the preparation of studies and worksheets that the Ministry of Interior shall present in the regional and international forums.
• To save and document the related researches, studies and correspondences including local, Arab and international levels. 
• To propose annual budget of the Department
• Any other assigned tasks.
