Care and Rehabilitation:

The Penal and Correctional Institutions Department is seeking through its programs the care and rehabilitation of the inmates during the period of serving their sentence inside the institution, with the aim of achieving social behaviour and psychological compatibility of the inmates with the community, beside strengthening the religious, cultural, professional, educational, training and sports aspects, until they leave in a way that the community and the circumstances will not drive them to do the crime again.
