The Committee at time of peace coordinates with General Directorate of Civil Defense, Ministry of Interior, to carry out all the necessary and urgent tasks to protect the people and the properties from risks. It specializes in the following:

• Prepare studies and set plans and procedures to face disasters.

• Set rules and regulations to speed relief aid.

• Secure the safety of transportation and communications.

• Set awareness plans to publish it in Media.

• Adopt measures and procedures to address:

  2. Fires and building collapses
  3. Oil and gas Leakage
  4. Other disasters and emergencies
