The federation aims at improving the fitness level of the police force through sports activities that fit for the profession in the firm as well as improve the level of skills thereby leading to the preparation of a team that will represent the police in different games and participate in local, Arab and international sports activities in addition to deepening the bonds of social networking between Ministry staff, further implementing the programs and activities to achieve friendship and love among police officers.

Qatar police Sports Federation, which is the major body for sports affairs at the Police department, is competent in pulling the public for sports in the ministry and work for providing all the material and human resources necessary to achieve its purposes and issuing the regulations and resolutions regulating the workflow, as well as controlling the arrangements for provision and distribution of prizes, bonuses and incentives and other means of encouragement in Sports field. The federation further organizes the games and competitions for police teams, and prepares cadres of leaders, coaches and technicians for the management of sporting activities and representation the police in front of the local, Arab and international sports federations and authorities as well as do follow up for the implementation of Council decisions and evaluating their results.

The federation has, among its pillars in the forefront, the activation of the sublime principle of sports and raising the spirit of friendly competition as well as working on the development of youth activity as well as sports, Arab and international activities taking our state as a member of both the International and Arab Federation for the police.
