Functions of the Section

• Make available all services and requirements needed for the Ministry from local and foreign market.
• Issuance of No Objection Certificates for importing explosives and signal flares to oil and gas companies.
• Issuance of foreign and local purchase orders, work orders and signing contracts.
• Disposition of unused, returned and unnecessary materials by sale in public auction.
• Tendering works and projects of the Ministry in public or limited tenders and announcing auctions.
• To supervise on the conditions of contracts in accordance with the specifications and conditions specifying the items and to make sure that all purchase orders are prepared as per the required conditions in addition to following up these orders till delivery is made.
• Registering names of companies and corporations, along with their addresses, which supply services and requirements of the Ministry.
• Listing registered companies and corporations and classifying them as per materials and categories for easier purchasing procedures.
