Planning and Follow up Section
The Planning and Follow up Section is assigned to :
- To set up fundamental rules for the preparation of operational plans for the department, follow-up and review in order to link its basic objectives with the pillars of Ministry’s strategies.
- To follow up the development and implementation of the strategies presented by the Ministry as an implementing partner, and make sure the inclusion of these objectives with implementing plans of the concerned departments.
- To prepare periodic reports on the follow up works in implementations.
- To spread the concept of strategic work with the departments of the Ministry.
- To prepare periodic reports on strategy objectives in regards of public safety and security.
- To prepare annual plan for the authority and presentation of periodic reports for implementation and follow up.
Project and Programme Management Section
The Project and Programme Management Section functions to:
- recommend strategic programmes and projects in coordination with concerned bodies
- follow-up programs and projects implemented by the Ministry and the date of completion, according to the standards and performance Indexes.
- Coordinate with the operational groups designated for programmes and projects in concerned departments
- Follow up the execution of the programmes approved and linked with the Qatar National Development Strategy.
- Coordinate with the projects admin offices or competent departments in regard to the implementation of joint programs and projects between the ministries and other agencies.
- Other similar designated duties.
