As part of efforts to enhance security cooperation, the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation received a delegation from the Regional Cybercrime Centre in Doha, affiliated with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Doha. The delegation was received by Brigadier Ali Hassan Al Kubaisi, Assistant Director-General of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of combating organized crime, the latest international developments related to transnational crimes, and means of addressing and reducing them. They also discussed mechanisms for exchanging expertise and best practices in this field.
