As part of the Ministry of Interior’s efforts to enhance the capabilities of national personnel in the field of maritime security, the Maritime Ports Security Department, in cooperation with the Police Officers Institute, concluded the Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) course, with the participation of 19 trainees from the Maritime Ports Security Department and the General Directorate of Industrial Security.

The closing ceremony was attended by Major General Dr. Abdulhadi Mohammed Zabin Al Dosari, Director of the Maritime Ports Security Department and Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Maritime Ports, Colonel Dr. Nayef Mohammed Al Manaei, Director of the Police Officers Institute, along with a number of officers.

The course aimed to qualify participants and enable them to implement the requirements of the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code, thereby enhancing port security and strengthening the preparedness of personnel in accordance with international standards.
