Specialized Training Course on Combating Narcotics Concludes
The Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Drug Enforcement, concluded a specialized training course on combating narcotics, held from 21 to 25 June, with the participation of a number of officers from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states. The course was organized within the framework of strengthening Gulf security cooperation and exchanging expertise and successful experiences.
The course aimed to enhance the participants’ capabilities and improve their professional competence by reviewing the latest methods and technologies used in detecting drug-related crimes and tracking down offenders, as well as introducing modern trends in the fields of drug control and prevention.
The training program, prepared by the Training Section of the General Directorate of Drug Enforcement, included a series of scientific lectures and practical workshops covering a number of relevant topics.
At the conclusion of the course, Colonel Tariq Ali Al-Fraihid Al-Malki, Assistant Director General of Drug Enforcement, honored the participants and presented them with certificates.
