Participants of Lt. Rank Promotion Course Visit NCC
As part of the qualification and training plan of the Police Institute, participants of the promotion course for the rank of Lieutenant carried out a field visit to the National Command Center (NCC). The visit aimed to familiarize them with the center’s operational work system, as well as the coordination and follow-up mechanisms it undertakes in managing incidents and emergencies and enhancing national security preparedness.
The visit program included a video presentation and an introductory lecture delivered by Major Hamoud Mutairan Al Shammari, Head of the Training and Qualification Section, who highlighted the center’s main tasks and responsibilities. He also provided a detailed explanation of the operational mechanisms, the command and control system, and the center’s role in coordinating among relevant entities to ensure rapid response and accurate decision-making in various emergency situations and reports.
He stated that the center, through such programs and field visits, is keen to provide trainees with direct exposure to specialized work environments, enhancing their practical experience and supporting their professional readiness to perform their future duties with high efficiency.
Participants in the visit were also introduced to the modern technological systems used within the center, as well as the mechanisms for managing and exchanging information among the concerned entities within the operational framework. This contributes to enhancing the efficiency of security operations and raising the level of preparedness and readiness to deal with crises and emergency situations.
