The Qatar Police Sports Federation held the technical meeting and conducted the draw for the 2026 Police Officers' Futsal Six-a-Side Championship. The tournament will take place from June 7 to June 17 at the Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena in Al Sadd, featuring nine teams representing officers from the Ministry of Interior and the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya).

The meeting was attended by several officers from the Qatar Police Sports Federation and representatives of the participating teams, during which the technical and organizational aspects of the tournament were reviewed, and the competition format and match regulations were clarified.

The championship is part of the Ministry of Interior's commitment to promoting sports activities among its personnel, fostering sportsmanship, and instilling values of teamwork and fair competition, in addition to supporting physical fitness and enhancing the readiness of the participants.

According to the tournament format, the first round will follow a round-robin system within each group, while the semi-finals will be played on a knockout basis. The two winning teams will advance to the final match to compete for the championship title.
