In line with the cooperation agreement between Hamad International Training Center of Hamad Medical Corporation and the Medical Services Department Training Center at the Ministry of Interior, a series of training courses was launched on Friday, May 5, 2017. The course on "Cardiac and Pulmonary Care" was attended by 19 trainees from the doctors and the nursing staff from Medical Services Department and Hamad Medical Corporation, at the Medical training Center, Medical services Department.

Dr. Khalifa Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Director of the Medical Services Department, said that the advanced course "Cardiac and Pulmonary Care" is one of the mandatory training courses required to develop and improve health work and access to high-quality and safe medical services for life-saving.

He pointed out that this course, which marks the beginning of practical implementation of the agreement between Hamad Medical Corporation and the Medical Services Department at the Ministry of Interior, included 12 trainees from the Department of Medical Services in addition to seven trainees from Hamad Medical Corporation in different medical specialties. More courses will be held in the coming weeks, including the "Immediate Cardiac Recovery", "PLS", and other specialized training courses.

He expressed his thanks to the Hamad Medical Corporation and officials of Hamad International Training Center for their commendable effort in executing the cooperation agreement.
