Overview:

Al-Fazaa is an old Arabic word, which holds meanings like chivalry, magnanimity, and providing help for those who are in need, the reason why Ministry of Interior chosen the name as  a substitute for  rescue police.

Rescue Police Department (Al- Fazaa) was established as per the Decree of Minister of State for Interior Affairs No.  (13) of 2009, dated on March, 15th, 2009.
